ArtNow.NZ are looking for a new Coordinator!

Your role would be the day to day running of the ArtNow.NZ website, liaising with galleries to receive and post information about their events and exhibitions on the ArtNow.NZ website, developing and implementing the social media strategy (Instagram and Facebook) to promote the exhibitions and events, liaising with the Essays editor to publish the monthly Essay, designing the weekly e-newsletter, reporting on website and social media stats, and more.

The ideal coordinator should have a background in contemporary visual arts, be detail orientated and very organised, great with people, self-motivated and a strong communicator (verbally and written), have a working knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign, and enjoy promoting the best of Aotearoa New Zealand’s visual arts.

At approx. 30 hours a week (Mon - Fri, 6 hours per day), based in the ArtNow.NZ office on K’Rd, Tāmaki Makaurau, this is the ideal role for a recent student wanting to launch into arts management, or an artist seeking part time work.
