Caitlin Rose Donnelly (Kāi Tahu, Kāti Māmoe, Pākehā) joins the Blue Oyster team as the new Office Coordinator.

Caitlin Rose Donnelly is an interdisciplinary artist based in rural Southland with her husband and two children. Her practice analyses being an estranged Māori, an adoptee, a mother, and a woman in traditionally male spaces. The whakataukī Ka mua, ka muri, meaning we must look to the past to inform the future, centres her whakaaro and mahi. Caitlin works for J & C Dairies - her and her husband's farming business, Paemanu Ngāi Tahu Contemporary Visual Arts Charitable Trust and Blue Oyster Art Project Space. She holds a Master of Fine Arts from the Dunedin School of Art and has written for Scope, ArtNow and Vernacular. Additionally, Caitlin is a Volunteer Senior Firefighter, STC and a local PTA and Arts and Crafts committee member.

Rosa Nevison joins the Blue Oyster as the new Design and Publishing Coordinator.

Rosa has spent the last four years in Ōtepoti studying a Bachelor of Design (Communication) at Otago Polytechnic/Te Pūkenga, working at local screen print and embroidery studio Print Room and photographing lots of music. She co-founded and runs Newzician Magazine which is an Aotearoa focused music magazine with her two friends. Having the opportunity to do an internship at Blue Oyster in 2021 allowed her to get a glimpse of the space and how it runs, and is so excited to officially join the team.
