How to Enter​

• Grab an everyday object as your "stunt microphone" (a hairbrush, a bottle, or even a spoon!)​
• Snap a photo of yourself performing your favourite love song​
• Post it on Instagram with #HYPERBALLADPoneke and tag @CityGalleryWellington or email your photo to communications@citygallery.org.nz

Terms & Conditions​

• The competition is open to individuals aged 18 and over.​
• Entrants must be residents of New Zealand.​
• Entries must be submitted within the competition period Friday 28 February - Sunday 30 March 2025, either via Instagram using the tags @CityGalleryWellington and #HYPERBALLADPoneke (please note, your account must be public) or by emailing communications@citygallery.org.nz.
• Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.​
• Winners will be chosen by City Gallery Wellington’s judging panel and notified via Instagram direct message or email and must respond within 48 hours to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond within the timeframe, City Gallery Wellington reserves the right to select an alternative winner.​
• Board members, employees, and contractors of CGW and Wheako Pōneke Experience Wellington, and their immediate family are not eligible to enter the competition.
• By entering, participants grant City Gallery Wellington and Wellington City Council permission to share, repost, and use their submitted content for promotional purposes.​
• Participants must own the rights to the photo they submit and ensure any individuals featured in the entry have given their consent.​
• City Gallery Wellington reserves the right to disqualify any entry deemed inappropriate or offensive. The competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.​
• Personal information provided by entrants will be used solely for the administration of this competition and will not be shared with third parties.​
