If you’re in London this Saturday (7th) you’re invited to Gasworks’ Winter Residencies Open Studios!

The current cohort of international residency artists (including Shiraz Sadikeen from Aotearoa New Zealand) are opening their studios to the public from 12pm-6pm and each giving a presentation about their work during the afternoon.

Natalie Paneng (South Africa) presentation from 2pm
Shiraz Sadikeen (Aotearoa New Zealand) presentation from 4pm
Osamu Shikichi (Japan) presentation from 4pm

You are invited to see, hear about and discuss their ongoing research, and to experience the work-in-progress they’ve been developing while at Gasworks.

Shiraz Sadikeen is the eighth artist from Aotearoa New Zealand to undertake a residency at Gasworks. This annual residency is possible thanks to the generous support of the Jan Warburton Charitable Trust, private individuals who contribute to the NZ Friends of Gasworks, the British Council Aotearoa New Zealand and the Pacific, and leading luxury skincare brand, Emma Lewisham and is organised in partnership with the Office for Contemporary Art, Aotearoa.
