Gus Fisher Gallery is pleased to offer a new opportunity to join our team as Gallery and Engagement Assistant (part-time).

You will be the face of Gus Fisher Gallery by providing a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors to the gallery on Saturdays. As part of a small team, you will be a guardian to the exhibition, be a point of information for visitors and work closely with the Public Programmes & Engagement Officer on the conception and delivery of family-friendly exhibition related events and activities.

Responsible for opening and closing the gallery on Saturdays, the role includes monitoring the exhibitions, devising bespoke exhibition and engagement opportunities for young people and carrying out impromptu gallery tours in a family-friendly environment.

Experience delivering events, workshops or activities in an arts environment, and experience working with children and young people is preferred.
