Gus Fisher Gallery are seeking volunteer support during the upcoming exhibition, Derek Jarman: Delphinium Days, 15 June - 14 September 2024.
For those looking to explore a career in the arts, Gus Fisher Gallery’s volunteer programme offers an opportunity to gain entry-level experience in a working art gallery, learn about the creative sector and meet new people. As a volunteer, you will provide a welcoming atmosphere to visitors and help facilitate engagement with the exhibition. In return, Gus Fisher will provide hands-on gallery experience, regular training sessions for skill development, further learning opportunities, and references for future positions.
If you are passionate about contemporary art, a confident communicator, understand allyship of LGBTQIA+ communities and have availability between Tuesdays and Thursdays on a fortnightly basis, they would love to hear from you!
Please email gusfishergallery@auckland.ac.nz to express your interest.
