Mossman is a small organisation that delivers a rigorous programme of exhibitions, including some off-site projects and participation in local and international art fairs.

Our ideal Gallery Manager is an organised and highly capable individual who will work closely alongside the Director to coordinate all aspects of day-to-day operations.

This multifaceted position requires a composed, details-orientated individual who can work productively and efficiently in a demanding environment. The position is equally outward facing and behind-the-scenes. Commanding written and oral skills are crucial to the role, as is proactive problem solving.

A desire to take on more responsibly at an appropriate time – including liaising with institutions and curators, working with artists, programming, and facilitating sales – is encouraged.

At least two years experience working in a gallery or arts institution is essential. The candidate is expected to have literacy in contemporary art and art history.
