Dunedin Public Art Gallery introduce a new member of their team. Sophie Davis is joining DPAG from Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington as part of the curatorial team.

"Sophie is returning to Te Waipounamu, where she grew up and studied. She brings a wealth of experience around contemporary art in Aotearoa. Sophie was the Director/Curator of Enjoy Contemporary Art Space from 2016-2020 – an organisation dedicated to exhibition and advocacy of contemporary art in Aotearoa. Prior to this, was Assistant Curator at The Physics Room and co-founded North Projects (2014-16), an independent art space in Ōtautahi Christchurch. She is particularly interested in exploring relationships between art, labour and collective discussion through a queer and feminist lens.
