Nikau Hindin made this work in response to the recent killing of George Floyd, Rest in Power, and the subsequent Black Lives Matter movement sweeping the globe. This terrible incident has reawakened the fight against police brutality and systematic racism in America, and indeed all over the world. All proceeds from the sale of this work will be gifted to the organisations 'Movement for Black Lives' and 'Rangatahi Organised Against Racism'.

The tender will close on Thursday the 18th of June at 5pm, and the winner will be called to confirm the purchase. Note/ this work would usually sell for around $3,200 NZD.
