We are looking for a part-time Gallery Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Sanderson Contemporary is a busy commercial gallery based in Newmarket, Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. The gallery manages a diverse stable of artists with varied artistic practices. We are looking for a part-time Gallery Assistant - working 3 days per week. This is a temporary role, with the possibility of more permanent work.
Our ideal candidate would have an arts related tertiary qualification or currently be studying and be capable and confident in sales. Experience working in a commercial gallery, auction house or retail sector would be an advantage. The successful applicant should have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Adobe Creative Cloud and art handling knowledge is also an advantage.
This role is ideal for someone who is looking to begin or continue their career in arts administration.
