Te Tuhi is seeking a full time Executive Assistant and Development Administrator, initially fixed term to 30 November 2024. The primary purpose of the role is to assist the Executive Director and Pou Ārahi to ensure the smooth running of Te Tuhi, to assist with the management of our key stakeholder relationships, and to monitor, evaluate and communicate Te Tuhi’s broader vision and diverse programmes to those stakeholders.

The role provides effective administration, meticulous attention to detail and accurate record keeping for the Executive Director and Pou Ārahi, coordinates Te Tuhi’s relationship management databases, and ensures that appropriate artists, participants, supporters, customers and audiences receive information that is relevant to them.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised and able to follow instructions with a high level of efficiency. They will have a positive outlook, proactive personality and enthusiasm for nurturing a happy and effective team. They will have solid cultural competency in tikanga and te aō Māori, an interest in contemporary art, and a passion for arts accessibility.
