The Arts House Trust (TAHT) is seeking a proactive, motivated, and well-organized Marketing & Retail Supervisor to help advance our goals, promote our initiatives and deliver exceptional customer service and sales in our Gallery Shop.
The primary purpose of the role is to support the objectives and activities of TAHT through various marketing and social media channels, as well as maintaining the TAHT website. Ensuring the integrity of our marketing strategy is essential to effectively communicate TAHT activities to a range of stakeholders and audiences.
The position also undertakes a broad range of responsibilities as Retail Supervisor. Strong product knowledge of inventory, sales experience and exceptional customer service are key. Based at the entrance of The Pah Homestead, the Gallery Shop contributes to the positive tone, creating a welcoming, friendly and professional environment for our shop and gallery visitors.
The position also supports the Front-of-House role (as needed), as well as assisting the Operations Manager in oversight for the venue and the Health & Safety of visitors.
The successful candidate will have a passion for arts, culture and people, demonstrating genuine enthusiasm for engaging with diverse audiences on all platforms.
This is a fixed-term, full-time (40 hours), outward-facing position involving a high degree of contact with the general public, artists, suppliers and staff. Art or GLAM sector marketing experience, including competencies in advertising, marketing, social media and website administration. Familiarity with Meta Business Suite, Squarespace, MailChimp and Canva is essential, as well as proficiency in MS Word/Office 365, data entry. 2-4 yearsโ experience in a similar customer service/retail role is preferable. The role would commence in late May/early June 2024 and expire in May/June 2025.
