• Make a short film for The Govett-Brewster’s Community Project, with a chance to see it screened at a future red carpet event at Len Lye Cinema, when it is safe to do so.

Calling all budding and existing film makers! You have a chance to make a short film, up to five minutes long, of any genre, capturing one day of life in your bubble.

No previous experience required - entry is free and open to anyone, whether first-timers or professional filmmakers - participants can make a film with those in their bubble or virtually, with family or friends.

All films contributed to this community project will be shown on the Govett-Brewster YouTube channel. There’s even a chance to see your short film screened at a red carpet event, when it is safe to do so, at the Len Lye Cinema.

Look out for updates after the submission period.

We want to create a platform to bring us all together in this unique and challenging time and celebrate the arts and creativity as a vital part of our being.
