Te Tuhi is pleased to be offering 'Relic from In Transit (Arrival)' by Yona Lee, which was conceived by the artist and Te Tuhi as a memento of her highly acclaimed 'In Transit (Arrival)' installation commissioned by Te Tuhi in association with Auckland Arts Festival in 2018. The fragment consists of a bus buzzer mounted on stainless steel tube, which evokes the large scale installation presented at Te Tuhi.

The artist has created a bespoke box to contain the distinctive component of 'In Transit (Arrival)' installation.

Edition of 20 + 2 AP, signed and numbered certificate white oak veneer box with bamboo panel, Plexiglass in a choice of 4 colours (blue, orange, yellow and white), stainless steel tube and bus buzzer 250mm x 250mm x 100mm

All proceeds from sales of this edition go directly towards the Te Tuhi Commissioning Fund, supporting the creation of ambitious, new artworks.

Lee will exhibit the fifth iteration of 'In Transit' at City Gallery Wellington 8 Dec 2018 - 24 March 2019, following her site-responsive work 'In Transit (Double function form)', currently on view at Art Gallery of New South Wales (22 October 2018 - 24 February 2019), and solo exhibitions at SeMA Nanji and Alternative Space Loop (both in Seoul, 2016).
