Te Tuhi is one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s foremost contemporary art spaces and a leader in supporting experimental practice. We are committed to contemporary art that is locally engaged, regionally responsive and internationally ambitious. Te Tuhi is an independent charitable trust supported by Auckland Council and the Contemporary Art Foundation. Our exhibitions are free and open to all.
Te Uru is a home for contemporary culture that is fresh, relevant, empowering and essential to the wellbeing of our communities.
With our unique perspective, located in the forested outskirts of Tāmaki Makaurau, Te Uru is a regional contemporary gallery with an international programme that reflects our place in Aotearoa and the wider Moana region, connecting new ideas and different practices with local and global networks.
DEPOT Artspace offers a curated exhibition programme across its two gallery spaces at 28 Clarence Street, a refurbished bus depot situated in the suburb of Te Hau Kapua / Devonport, a short ferry ride from the centre of Auckland, or 15 minute drive across the harbour bridge. DEPOT’s exhibition programme is a hybrid of projects which meaningfully contribute to the cultural fabric of Aotearoa; solo and group exhibitions which platform emerging and mid-career artists to new audiences; and shows which promote cross-cultural engagement through traditional and contemporary art forms.
