In celebration of Becky Richards’ exhibition Wonderlump, Objectspace is bringing together the Tāmaki Makaurau ceramics community for an evening of exchange.
Each maker is encouraged to bring along a small ceramic curio to be entered in a lucky-dip mystery swap.
Your curio could be a small object, a shard or fragment, a remnant, or test. Choose something that you personally find intriguing or beautiful, but can bear to part with. Below are some simple guidelines to help with your selection.
Curio criteria:
- Made predominantly of clay
- Has been made by yourself, during any period of your practice
- Something small and hand held
- Has been fired – bisque or higher – and is of reasonable durability
Alongside objects, we'll be sharing drinks, nibbles and conversation. Spaces are limited and registration is essential. Book your spot to come along, and leave with a new curio in hand.
