Squiggla is a creative mark-making programme. Hands, eyes, hearts and minds get a workout as Squiggla helps you exercise your own creative thinking potential and keeps you creatively fit!

Squiggla is all about exploring the visual language of dots and lines right on the page as you:

• Invent and imagine by putting your creative thinking into action
• Generate new visual ideas with play and curiosity
• Break free of ‘art expectations’ and slow your mind to enjoy the creative process
• Compose on the page as marks dance, jaunt, cluster and wander
• In this workshop we will be using the concept of experimental, playful mark making. Mark making is a fundamental part of Squiggla and plays an important role in the Chartwell Collection. We will also be using collage which has a big part to play in Squiggla making. It is a great way to synthesise different materials and ideas to create other ideas or elements which wouldn’t have happened without the first ones. Squiggla is designed as a non-judgemental activity for people of all ages from youngsters to adults and families.
