Through the studios and gallery, Te Tuhi aims to support contemporary artists who have an interest in experimental and social practices by providing an environment in which artists can develop their practices and expand their networks.

The selected artist is not required to make an object or exhibition but they will receive curator feedback and up to half a day technical support if required. They will be expected to present at least one talk about their practice and participate in two open studio events during the year.
