Volunteers are an integral part of the team at Gus Fisher Gallery. Helping to man our front desk, host our busy openings or contribute to the delivery of our dynamic public programmes, we value our volunteers input and time. In return, we share our enthusiasm, experience and knowledge, with a remit to providing every volunteer with dedicated opportunities for professional development. We are a small team at Gus Fisher Gallery consisting of just two full time and two part time staff. Our volunteer programme is therefore crucial to maintaining the smooth running of the gallery and enabling as many people as possible to engage with our programmes on a daily basis.

We are always open to new volunteers joining our team and welcome anyone with a passion for engaging with audiences about the gallery’s socially relevant programming.

If you are enthusiastic about contemporary art and enjoy engaging with people, and can commit to at least one shift of three hours per month, please fill out the Volunteers Application Form and get in touch. In return, we can offer you hands-on experience in a small contemporary art gallery, professional development seminars, and connections with artists and other arts professionals.
