Earlier this year, Objectspace opened a satellite gallery in the former home of architect Sir Miles Warren at 65 Cambridge Terrace, Ōtautahi Christchurch.

The exhibition Living Room is coming soon to the modernist haven that is Sir Miles' extraordinary gallery at 65 Cambridge Terrace. The exhibition and surrounding events will be free and open to visit for all.

Existing somewhere between a living room, stage set, and design-fair-display, Living Room draws on our personal and cultural associations with the objects and architecture of daily life — sharing what the design we live with says about who we are, what we do, and what we care about.

If you care about design, Objectspace invite you to support the commissioning of 10 new works by artists, craftspeople and designers for this exhibition.

Your donation will directly fund 10 artist fees, with a focus on commissioning Canterbury Waitaha artists, for what will be the most ambitious project in the 2023 calendar for the Sir Miles Warren Gallery. You’ll be the first to see the exhibition you’ve made possible at the show’s opening celebration in November and raise a glass with your fellow design lovers.
