The Dunedin Public Art Gallery is offering a permanent, full-time position providing the opportunity for someone with a demonstrated ability as a Collections Assistant to work in a dynamic and creative professional environment.
Reporting to the Exhibitions and Collection Manager, you will be assisting the Collections team with organisation, logistics and care of permanent collection and loan items, helping maintain accurate documentation and assisting with the installation and demounting of exhibitions.
You will have an affinity with artists and an appreciation and respect for art and for what the Gallery does, while also being highly organized, careful and practical, and able to lift and carry artworks. A current driver's licence is essential.
