With the presentation of Emma Fitts: Lapping at Your Door, Objectspace welcomes the Jan Warburton Charitable Trust as the partner for their Courtyard Plinth Commissions for the next five years. This gift is the first of its kind for Objectspace and will fund the future of this vital part of their programme.
Since relocating to their 13 Rose Road premises in 2017, Objectspace has annually commissioned a project for their outdoor exhibition space: The Courtyard Plinth. This programme is decided through an open call process, and has featured work by Kauri Hawkins, Mary-Louise Browne and Virginia Leonard in recent years.
With the support of the Jan Warburton Charitable Trust, the gallery will continue to provide this unique exhibition opportunity, with applications for the 2023 Courtyard Plinth Commission opening in April 2022.
