BENT is proud to announce: KING BITCH and TRAVERSE: two connected exhibitions of work from queer students and staff at Te Waka Tūhura Elam School of Fine Arts and Design. KING BITCH is a group show collecting a wide range of work about embodied queerness, and is presented alongside TRAVERSE by David K. Shields, an MFA project featuring photography and moving image work which celebrates queer communities and leaders of Aotearoa.
Both shows will be opened, along with drinks and nibbles, on Wednesday 4th October at 6pm at the George Fraser Gallery, 25 Princes St, followed by a trip down the hill to Elam to see KING BITCH.
BENT and the Te Waka Tūhura Elam Galleries team invite you to come see some art, meet some folks and have a good time at the opening.
